Unified Quality Control Creates Efficiencies in Tapeless Workflow at Cutting Edge Media Facility
AmberFin removes uncertainty in media Quality Control and establishes a QC mark that the industry can trust.
Making its debut at IBC and shipping worldwide from September, version 7.3 of iCR integrates Unified Quality Control (UQC) across all of its content ingest and transcoding operations.
UQC enables easier and more effective decision making through a single timeline approach. Combining an automated process with a human touch, new levels of trust and confidence can be introduced to the file creation and distribution processes.
AmberFin today announced that Discovery Communications Inc. has adopted a new high efficiency workflow at its global headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland, using the AmberFin iCR Ingest, Transcoding and Review tools. The new workflow entails DNxHD ingest and Review controlled via TMD’s asset management system Mediaflex.
